The Territory finally was able to celebrate the day they received self-governance, after long delays due to Covid 19 restrictions. For most people, Territory Day means you get to set off fireworks. Here are some photos I took on the night, as Territory Day was celebrated in Batchelor.
We have already experienced a couple of nice thunderstorms, supposedly hailing an early start to the Wet season. It is especially nice when these storms happen around sundown, lighting the otherwise threatening clouds in striking colours for us to enjoy.
